To help us help you quickly, include:
- your Apple TV model and tvOS version (Settings › General › About on the Apple TV);
- your NVR model;
- the ReoView version, shown on ReoView's About screen;
- what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.
Quick fixes
ReoView can't find my NVR
Check that the Apple TV and the NVR are on the same home network (the same router, not a guest network).
If it still doesn't show up, choose Add Manually in Connections and type the NVR's IP address. You'll find it in your router's list of devices, or on the NVR's own screen under network settings.
Sign-in fails
Use the NVR's own username and password (the ones for its local web page), not your Reolink® cloud account. The default username is usually admin.
Video is slow to start or stutters
In full-screen live, try Fast SD: it uses the camera's smaller stream. A wired Ethernet connection for the Apple TV helps a lot.
The NVR only sends so much video at once, so other apps watching the same NVR (the Reolink app, a browser) can slow ReoView down.
Playback says there are no recordings
Playback shows what the NVR recorded on its disk. Check that recording is turned on for that camera in the NVR's settings, and pick a day that isn't dimmed in the day strip.
A camera shows a lock
Full-screen live and playback are free on your first camera. ReoView Pro, a one-time purchase, unlocks them on every camera. If you've already bought Pro, select a locked camera to open the upgrade screen and choose Restore Purchase.
Privacy
Your video stays on your network. ReoView uses Firebase for feature-use statistics and crash reports; our usage events contain no camera details or video. You can turn collection off in Settings › Privacy. See the privacy policy for the data Firebase collects.
